I started playing D&D as a two or three year old kid. Admittedly back then my involvement mas limited. My parent’s D&D group called me “the Hobbit Thief,” as they would put me to bed, and then I would sneak into the room, and steal dice off the table. Apparently I would then sneak back to my room and hide said dice under my mattress.accordong to my mother, either I was extremely fast, or they didn’t notice the missing dice for several months. I had also taught myself to pick locks by that point, but that was to escape the tyranny of being inside, but I digress.

My first character I rolled up was when I was 5 or 6. No I don’t remember them, but I bet my dad and mom still have the character sheet.

My parents are now in their late 70s and early 80s. They still play D&D and recommended being a DM to people that think they want kids. Apparently there is a fair bit of overlap in running a fun game, and a functional family.
