I regularly use spices local and foreign, just not much salt.
Ah, I’m sorry if I caused any confusion or offense! I fully support you reducing salt, and it wasn’t a dig at your opinion, just me associating a lack of salt with the dire state of a lot of British “cooking”. Being from England myself, I’ve been subjected to some truly awful, flavourless meals over the years :)
I don’t know how to leave salt out of fried sausage/bacon. Also chips/fried potatoes are part of the 10%.
All that exploited spice trade and you’re still eating like its WWI rationing.
