Was driving down the road with my wife and came to a stop light. We both witnessed a lone potato rolling down the street through the intersection at a pretty good clip. We both looked at each other, making sure we were seeing what we were seeing and busted out laughing.
I have absolutely no clue where it came from, and to this day remains one of the most random things I’ve seen and NOONE ever believes me when I mention it.
Tik tok always felt like the algorithm was breathing down your neck. Vine was way more organic, and felt like minimal corporate influence.

Vine seriously was an art form. Get your idea across in 6 seconds, cut all the bs. Perfection.
One I haven’t seen mentioned yet is the kid doing a death drop in the yard and the xfiles theme plays with illuminati symbols flying up.

I scored an Edifier pair of powered speakers (no amp needed) for 15 bucks at goodwill. You can find them on sale on Amazon for as low as $100-200 every now and then. I was pleasantly surprised at how full and clear the speakers are. Great for tight on space/budget.
Another great budget option with more bass are the THX Logitech computer speaker 2.1set w/ sub (another set not needing an amp). I have a set that’s at least 20 years old and sound crazy good for sub $200 price point.
My other setup is a really nice Revel Concerta floor standing set with SVS sub, the complete opposite of budget and space saving. So I’ll leave the midrange w/ amp options to someone else.

3000 series is fantastic, however it was during Covid so prices were way out of whack. I somehow lucked out and got a 3080 for msrp and it is still doing great in 1440 max settings for most games at +144fps . I did have to go to mid settings on BF6 to keep it at 144mhz, but still haven’t needed to turn frame gen on.
